Exciting news: construction on Goodland Parkway has begun

Published November 15, 2024

We’re thrilled to announce that the long-awaited Goodland Parkway construction is officially underway — starting with a brand-new bridge. This new access point will transform residents’ and visitors’ experience of Goodland. The first stretch of this four-lane road is on track to open in early 2026 and will create an easy connection from Hwy 287 and Hwy 360 all the way down to Feather Grass Village. Once complete, Goodland Parkway will provide faster access to nearby cities like Mansfield, Texas, and open up new possibilities for residents.

Why is this road so important? Because Goodland Parkway isn’t just a road: it’s a game-changer for connectivity and convenience throughout the community and beyond. The new road improves access to nearby cities like Mansfield, Texas, by creating a more efficient route to everyday conveniences in surrounding areas — and giving Goodland residents and visitors a more delightful arrival experience.

Goodland Parkway sets the stage for the exciting future of the community. It will create critical access to the future Downtown Goodland and Goodland Hub. This town center will be a vibrant new regional destination filled with dining spots, entertainment, civic centers, everyday essentials and a thoughtfully curated mix of shops showcasing local and regional favorites.

As the planning evolves, there will be more updates to come. We’ll keep you posted with important milestones, too, so stay tuned as Goodland Parkway (and Goodland) continues to take shape.
