Meet Teresa: Goodland’s Onsite Assistant General Manager

Published September 14, 2026

Whether you’ve stopped by the Goodland HOA office with a question or run into her at Movie Night at the Pool, chances are Teresa’s already made you feel welcome. As Goodland’s Assistant General Manager, she helps residents, coordinates events and keeps the community running smoothly alongside Nicole, our General Manager.

We sat down with Teresa to talk about her role, what she loves about Goodland and what’s coming next.

Teresa & her role

Q: How would you describe your role?

A: I help oversee the daily operations of the community while supporting Goodland residents and the General Manager (GM).

Q: What does a typical day for you look like?

A: Responding to resident inquiries, assisting with account issues, coordinating with vendors, planning community events and working closely with the GM to make sure the community’s needs are met.

Q: What’s the most common reason a resident calls or stops by the office?

A: Questions about their accounts, assessments, community policies, architectural requests, amenities or general concerns about the neighborhood.

Q: What part of your role do you enjoy most?

A: Helping Goodland residents and building positive relationships within the community.

Why Goodland feels different

Q: What feels different about Goodland compared to other communities you’ve worked with?

A: It has a unique energy and sense of excitement because it’s still growing and developing, with amazing things to come.

Q: What are you looking forward to as the community grows?

A: Seeing the community come together as more residents move in and new amenities and programs are introduced. It’s what makes Goodland a special place to call home.

Q: What do you hope residents feel when they walk into or call the Goodland HOA office?

A: Welcomed, valued and comfortable reaching out. I want them to know they’re being heard and that we’re here to help make their experience a positive one.

Helping residents feel at home

Teresa’s advice for new residents getting settled in? Stop by the Goodland HOA office and meet the team. “We have a lot of helpful information and are here to help make the transition a positive one.”

She also has a tip for anyone starting a home project: get familiar with the covenants, conditions and restrictions before you plan, or just reach out with questions. And if you want to stay in the loop, keep an eye on the newsletter. (That’s where all the juicy details are shared.)

A calendar full of community moments

Teresa plays a key role in pulling the community calendar together, from coordinating event info with the GM to maintaining the schedule and keeping everything updated. She recently helped plan Movie Night at the Pool, and she’s hoping the Pool Season Opening Party becomes a Goodland tradition for years to come.

The Teresa behind the nametag

Outside the office, Teresa unwinds with family. She enjoys quiet nights at home, a walk, a good book and catching up with friends. She’s also spent years working as a travel agent, a background that’s taught her to really listen so she can understand what people need. Another fun fact: she loves to bake. (Good thing pumpkin pie season is almost here.)

Looking ahead

Teresa’s excited for what’s next at Goodland, especially The Retreat, which will soon be home to a brand-new Goodland HOA office right in the heart of the community. And she’s got a bigger goal in mind, too: showing residents just how much the HOA is on their side. “I want people to know we’re here to help, not just enforce rules. For residents to see us as partners in making this a great place to live.”

With Teresa on the team, Goodland residents have someone they can count on.
