Community life at Goodland: good times, great neighbors and year-round fun for all

Published November 15, 2024

Goodland is more than just a place to live. It’s a vibrant, thriving community where neighbors become friends and memories are made by the moment. This year, Goodland hosted gatherings for residents of all ages, with even more planned for next year. All-in-all, Goodland is the perfect place to enjoy the good old-fashioned sense of community families crave.

A look back at our 2024 events

This year’s Goodland community events brought friends and neighbors together in creating lasting memories. From family-friendly holiday festivities to seasonal community-focused get-togethers, these activities offered a little something for everyone. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Easter egg hunt: Families helped us kick off the spring season with a community-wide Easter egg hunt followed by a delicious Chick-fil-A spread.
  • Spring landscape seminar: No green thumb, no problem: residents learned gardening tips and landscaping ideas from the experts to get (and keep) their yards flourishing.
  • End-of-school social: With the pool open, prizes to raffle and Kona Ice on hand, kids and parents celebrated the start of summer at our end-of-school social.
  • July 4th party: Independence Day was a red, white and blue bash with BBQ, games and a raffle that brought everyone together in celebration.
  • Fall landscape seminar: As the leaves started to change, we gathered once again to learn more about fall gardening tips and how to prep yards for cooler weather.
  • Halloween party: Spooky fun and costumes galore! Residents gathered to celebrate Halloween with treats, games, and festive frights.

Looking Ahead

The community celebrations don’t stop there. There’s still a Thanksgiving gathering to look forward to and a festive holiday celebration that will bring residents together for a bit of year-end cheer.

Stay tuned: we’re already planning more events and activities for next year and beyond. Whether you’re looking for family-friendly activities near cities like Mansfield, TX, educational seminars or just a chance to mingle with neighbors and soon-to-be friends, there’s always something to look forward to at Goodland.
